This is the first Flower Talk that i am inspire to write. Hope in few years time, it can be a monthly communication channel to our customers, partners and teams.

First time is always the toughest. The feeling of worry, scare, uncertainty always play in our mind and that feeling is pass through from the parents to the kids – for safety reason perhaps.

After we did it a few times, few hundred times, few thousand times.. We probably will love what we are doing, and strangers becomes friends. Worries become excitement.

To be able to do great things, we have to spread our wing, fly away from our safety net. Ultimately to find life fulfilment and life objectives.

Just do it and do it now.

Taking Design from Inspiration to Wedding Day

I am often asked how do we come up with a look that celebrates who the couple is on their wedding day? The answer is never clear cut – sometimes it happens within the first few minutes of my very first interactions with client. Other times, it takes getting to know the couple – letting their ‘couple’s taste’ evolve during the process, and going back to the drawing board a few times. That was the case with our lovely Carter and Jen. Wellwed magazine asked us to share our insights as they showcased our process from the Inspiration board to the wedding day. There are some great tips in this article for clients and vendors setting out to showcase their personal style on the big day.

Enjoy!

Flower Deliveries at the Office – Proper Etiquette When Sending Flowers to Work

Everyone loves receiving gifts. There is something exciting about getting a present on special occasions. With flowers deliveries growing in popularity, many gift givers opt to order a present online or over the phone and have it sent directly to that special someone. In some cases, this may mean shipping the flowers deliveries to places of employment. Before you choose to send your gift to work rather than home, make sure you are choosing an appropriate bouquet that will not cause any problems for the person receiving it.

Thinking of You at Work

Maybe you have a friend or relative who has been down lately. They could be going through some personal problems or simply have the blues. Either way, flowers deliveries have been known to increase happiness levels in loved ones! Sending a lovely bouquet is a great idea; however make sure you do not create controversy in your friend’s workplace.

When sending the gift, be careful of selection. Avoid shipping overly large bouquets that might not sit well in a cubical or other confined space. Some can be very top heavy and the last thing your loved one wants is spilled water all over their desk.

Also be careful when choosing your flowers deliveries arrangement with humor in mind. You might find it funny to ship a bouquet intended for a funeral or wedding even though there have been no deaths and your friend is not getting married. However, depending on how sensitive they are about such occasions, this could create confusion in their workplace. Coworkers may see the bouquet and begin asking when the big day is, who died, or “does your spouse know?”

A Lover’s Longing in Blooms

Flowers deliveries are extremely popular among those wishing to express their love for another. Many blossoms have been known for their ability to convey loving emotions without a single word spoken. This can be a great way to show your lover that you are thinking of them and care deeply for them. However, this can also spell disaster in the work place!

Most flowers deliveries bouquets come with a little card that the sender can enter a message to be printed on. You may be tempted to share every last detail about what is on your mind with your lover, but avoid doing so directly on the bouquet. Remember to keep what you write on the card tasteful. If you must say something suggestive, consider using a code that only you and your lover will understand. Remember, you really don’t want his or her boss stopping by to see who sent the flowers and learning the details of your more intimate moments.

On the other hand, if your lover has ever dated anyone in the office, sending flowers could reopen wounds or create hurt feelings. Even if the relationship is long in the past, some ex’s hold on to their emotions. Make sure you send flowers deliveries arrangements with only good intentions in mind and avoid creating unnecessary drama. The last thing you want to do is make work life awkward or difficult for your significant other.

Flowers deliveries can be wonderful to show you are thinking about someone special. Take care to avoid creating strive or controversy in the office. The gift should be intended as a thoughtful token of your love, appreciation or concern and not as a spark to ignite scandal and controversy among the people who sign your loved one’s paycheck!
